We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our remote team full-time, working U.S. business hours. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads and building a robust sales pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting. You will engage potential clients, conduct initial discovery conversations to assess their needs, and connect qualified prospects with the sales team. The ideal candidate communicates confidently, takes ownership of outreach targets, and continuously refines their approach based on feedback and performance data. This position requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients that align with the company’s target customer profile. Initiate contact through cold calls, personalized emails, and other relevant channels. Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads by tailoring outreach to improve engagement and generate meaningful sales conversations.

- Lead Qualification & Discovery: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospects’ needs, challenges, and business goals. Assess fit and readiness to advance in the sales process by asking relevant qualification questions. Document key findings and next steps to ensure effective follow-up.

- Pipeline & CRM Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, outreach activities, and pipeline status. Track follow-ups to guarantee timely communication. Utilize CRM tools and outreach platforms to organize daily tasks and provide visibility of ongoing opportunities to the sales team.

- Sales Team Collaboration: Partner closely with account executives and senior sales members to smoothly hand off qualified leads. Provide detailed notes and context to support seamless transitions between sales stages. Align outreach messaging with overall sales strategy and share prospect feedback to enhance lead quality.

- Outreach Optimization & Research: Continuously test and refine email sequences, call scripts, and messaging based on response data. Monitor outreach performance to identify areas for improvement in conversion rates. Research new prospect segments and adapt strategies according to prospect behavior and team guidance.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, or a similar outbound-focused role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and follow-up processes.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales outreach platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage daily outreach activities while balancing volume and quality.
- Resilience in handling rejection and adapting approaches based on feedback.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed sales team.

Preferred Qualifications and Culture Fit

- Takes full ownership of outreach targets and consistently follows through without needing reminders.
- Communicates proactively, keeping the team informed about pipeline progress and potential challenges.
- Demonstrates curiosity about prospects and customizes messaging rather than relying on a single script.
- Views rejection as an opportunity to learn and improve.
- Maintains organization, consistency, and a focus on generating high-quality opportunities.

A typical day involves reviewing your pipeline, prioritizing high-potential prospects, conducting outbound outreach via calls and personalized emails, qualifying leads, and advancing promising conversations. You will coordinate with the sales team to hand off qualified opportunities, update CRM records, analyze outreach performance, and research new prospect segments to enhance future efforts.
