The D Care, based in Karachi, is looking for a motivated Sales & Service Engineer with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience to join their medical equipment business. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and customer engagement skills to assist healthcare institutions in selecting appropriate medical devices and ensuring ongoing reliable support. The ideal candidate will work closely with hospitals, clinics, and laboratories to promote, install, and maintain biomedical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop sales opportunities by building strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare professionals.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable medical equipment and solutions accordingly.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, clearly explaining equipment features, applications, and technical specifications.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, follow up on inquiries, and work diligently towards achieving agreed sales targets.
- Perform equipment installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Train healthcare staff on proper equipment operation, routine care, and safe handling procedures.
- Respond promptly to service requests and collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of customer visits, installations, maintenance activities, and service reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably 1 to 2 years in medical equipment sales, servicing, or technical support.
- Strong understanding of biomedical equipment, electronic systems, and fault diagnosis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and explain complex technical information to both clinical and non-technical users.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage competing sales and service priorities.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, product demonstrations, installations, and service assignments.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
