We are a rapidly expanding import and distribution company specializing in contamination control, biosecurity, hygiene chemicals, and industrial cleaning solutions. Serving key sectors such as pharmaceutical, biotech, food manufacturing, and healthcare, we focus on delivering innovative products and fostering long-term partnerships. We are currently looking for a qualified Microbiologist with strong leadership and sales management capabilities to lead and develop our industrial and institutional sales team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in microbiology combined with proven sales expertise, driving the team to meet targets while maintaining compliance with industry standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed business objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with customers across pharmaceutical, biotech, food, and healthcare sectors. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations at customer sites to effectively communicate product benefits and applications. Collaborate with management to prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and strategic sales plans tailored to client needs. Monitor team performance regularly, prepare monthly and quarterly reports, and track the progress of ongoing projects. Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and industry events to generate leads and enhance market presence.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology is essential, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development within pharmaceutical, biotech, or contamination control industries. A strong understanding of hygiene, cleaning concepts, and contamination control standard operating procedures (SOPs) is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities, are necessary to succeed in this role. Proven leadership experience with a focus on achieving sales targets is essential. Candidates must have their own conveyance to facilitate travel to client locations and events.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
While not mandatory, a Master’s degree in Microbiology will be considered an advantage. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000. The position requires in-person attendance at the designated work location, providing an opportunity to engage directly with clients and industry stakeholders.
