Salesforce-Manager

Based in Hyderabad, this role at EY presents an exciting opportunity to lead Salesforce solution delivery within a global and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and innovation. As a Salesforce Manager, you will architect and manage end-to-end Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. This position blends technical leadership, project management, and team mentorship to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders, guide development teams, and promote continuous improvement in processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, integrations, and data models. Define scalable architecture patterns, coding standards, and best practices across Salesforce environments. Conduct technical and code reviews to ensure compliance with platform limits, security, and governance.

Evaluate and recommend Salesforce products, AppExchange tools, and integration frameworks. Manage the full project delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, sprint planning, development, quality assurance, and deployment. Collaborate with business subject matter experts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Oversee release management, environment strategy, DevOps pipelines, and change management. Handle project risks, dependencies, budgets, stakeholder communication, and release timelines. Lead, mentor, and support Salesforce developers, administrators, consultants, and QA engineers.

Drive technical capability assessments and promote continuous learning in Salesforce technologies. Act as the technical liaison between business and engineering teams, facilitating design workshops and solution walkthroughs. Support pre-sales activities such as effort estimation, solution demonstrations, and project scoping.

Ensure thorough documentation of architecture, integrations, and technical builds. Lead initiatives to improve DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, and org optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures. Maintain compliance with Salesforce security, data governance, and architectural standards.

Required Qualifications

8 to 15 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in Salesforce project leadership roles. Strong expertise in Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Flows, Process Builder, and declarative tools. Proficient with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), Platform Events, and integration patterns.

Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, multi-org strategies, governor limits, sharing/security models, and deployment processes. Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and preferably Field Service or CPQ. Solid background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, user stories, and sprint planning.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect or System Architect, and Administrator/Advanced Administrator are highly desirable. Project management certifications like PMP, CSM, or SAFe add value.

Experience with CI/CD tools including Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, and Git, as well as integration platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, and Kafka, is advantageous. Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, security standards, SSO, OAuth, and identity management is preferred.

Experience managing multi-cloud Salesforce implementations, org consolidation, technical debt remediation, and modernization efforts is a plus.
