SAP AI Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP AI Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions within the SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP BTP AI Services, Python-based AI development, SAP Joule, SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and cloud-native enterprise architectures. This role requires a visionary professional capable of driving AI innovation and integrating advanced technologies into scalable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect AI solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), leveraging SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, Joule, Joule Studio, SAP HANA Cloud, CAP, and Integration Suite.
- Lead the development and guidance of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Copilots, Intelligent Automation, and enterprise AI applications.
- Develop scalable AI services and integrations using Python, REST APIs, SDKs, and cloud-native design principles.
- Define AI architecture frameworks, including governance, security, data grounding, vector search, prompt orchestration, and enterprise deployment patterns.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate AI use cases into production-ready solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP BTP, AI engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python programming, AI frameworks, and enterprise-grade AI application development.
- Proven experience with SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub, AI Launchpad, Joule, and Joule Studio.
- In-depth understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, tool calling, and large language model (LLM) orchestration.
- Expertise in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, CAP Framework, SAP HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, OData, REST, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized deployments, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud-native application architecture.
- Excellent customer-facing, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience architecting AI-led SAP transformation programs.
- Exposure to enterprise data architecture, semantic models, and AI-ready data products.
- Relevant SAP BTP, AI, or cloud certifications are advantageous; Python certifications are required.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology is mandatory.
