SAP B1 Junior Functional Consultant

We are seeking a practical and solution-oriented SAP B1 Junior Functional Consultant to join our consulting team based in Lahore. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical and functional contact for our clients, assisting them with daily system issues, report generation, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. You will engage with a diverse client portfolio, working across both MS SQL Server and SAP HANA environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your ERP consulting expertise while supporting clients in their day-to-day business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve daily client support tickets related to system errors, user access problems, and general inquiries within core SAP B1 modules such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Finance.
- Develop and modify SQL queries and SAP HANA scripts to retrieve data, resolve stuck transactions, and perform backend database maintenance.
- Create and customize user reports, printing layouts, and interactive dashboards using Crystal Reports and SAP’s built-in query tools.
- Assist in the setup, troubleshooting, and support of industry-specific add-ons and custom software extensions utilized by clients.
- Collaborate closely with client teams to gather requirements for system changes, support software testing during upgrades, and provide basic training to end-users.
- Maintain clear documentation of recurring technical issues, client configurations, and standard solutions to enhance team efficiency in resolving future problems.
- Diagnose issues to the best of your ability and escalate complex database bugs or custom code problems to senior developers when necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience supporting users within an SAP Business One environment.
- Proficient working knowledge of MS SQL Server and SAP HANA Studio, including scripting, creating views, and basic stored procedures.
- Solid understanding of business workflows within an ERP system, including how sales, purchase orders, and inventory transactions affect financial ledgers.
- Practical experience with SAP B1 industry add-ons and data import tools such as the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW).
- Strong communication skills, a patient approach to client support, and the ability to deliver practical technical solutions to everyday challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Proficiency in understanding spoken Arabic is preferred, enhancing communication with a broader client base.
