SAP B1 Support Executive

We are seeking a practical and solution-oriented SAP Business One Support Executive to join our consulting team based in Lahore. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical and functional contact for our diverse client base, assisting them in resolving daily system errors, generating reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your ERP consulting expertise by working across both MS SQL Server and SAP HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve daily client support tickets related to system errors, user access issues, and general inquiries within core SAP Business One modules such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Finance.
- Develop and modify SQL queries and SAP HANA scripts to retrieve data, address stuck transactions, and perform backend database maintenance.
- Design and customize user reports, printing layouts, and interactive dashboards using Crystal Reports and SAP’s built-in query tools.
- Assist in the setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of industry-specific add-ons and custom software extensions utilized by clients.
- Collaborate closely with client teams to gather requirements for system modifications, support software testing during upgrades, and provide basic training to end-users.
- Maintain detailed documentation of recurring technical issues, client configurations, and standard solutions to streamline future problem resolution.
- Diagnose technical issues to the fullest extent and escalate complex database bugs or custom code problems to senior developers when necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (equivalent to 16 years of education).
- Between 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience supporting users in an SAP Business One environment.
- Proficient working knowledge of both MS SQL Server and SAP HANA Studio, including the ability to write scripts, views, and basic stored procedures.
- Solid understanding of everyday business workflows within an ERP system, including how sales, purchase orders, and inventory movements affect financial ledgers.
- Practical experience with SAP Business One industry add-ons and data loading tools such as the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW).
- Strong communication skills, a calm and composed approach to client interactions, and the ability to provide practical technical solutions to common issues.
