The Senior DevOps Consultant – Onapsis & SAP Security plays a critical role in leading SAP security, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and DevSecOps initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and RISE with SAP environments. This position requires a proactive approach to securing SAP landscapes and embedding security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Onapsis Platform Ownership
- Manage the Onapsis platform, including configuration, upgrades, integrations, health monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure continuous SAP vulnerability and compliance monitoring with well-defined operational standards and thorough documentation.

SAP Security & Vulnerability Management
- Assess SAP security risks, prioritize findings, and coordinate remediation efforts for vulnerabilities, configuration gaps, authorization risks, and missing Security Notes.
- Define security baselines and validate remediation effectiveness through recurring assessments.

DevSecOps Enablement
- Integrate automated security checks and policy validation into SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori, and custom application CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to promote DevSecOps practices, Clean Core principles, and secure software delivery.

Cloud & RISE with SAP Operations
- Secure SAP workloads deployed on Azure, AWS, RISE with SAP, and SAP BTP environments.
- Define cloud security controls and work alongside architecture teams to build resilient, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions.

Continuous Threat Monitoring & Incident Response
- Implement ongoing threat monitoring and manage incident response processes to protect SAP environments from emerging risks.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP security, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong expertise in SAP BTP security is mandatory.
- Proven ability to manage and operate the Onapsis platform or similar SAP security tools.
- Experience securing SAP workloads across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and RISE with SAP.
- Solid understanding of SAP security baselines, compliance standards, and remediation processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and embedding security automation within SAP and custom applications.
