We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Migration Consultant to support a multi-site ERP migration project on a fractional basis. This role involves overseeing the migration of two distinct sites to SAP S/4HANA—one transitioning from SAP Business One (SAP B1) and the other from Sage. The consultant will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and coordinated migration process across both sites, working closely with various stakeholders to meet project goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate SAP S/4HANA migration activities across multiple sites.
- Manage the migration of one site from SAP Business One to SAP S/4HANA.
- Manage the migration of another site from Sage to SAP S/4HANA.
- Oversee project activities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure alignment with overall objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, SAP consultants, and implementation partners to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
- Support all phases of the migration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, migration planning, testing, data migration, and deployment.
- Monitor and track project risks, issues, dependencies, and overall progress, escalating concerns as needed.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving any migration-related issues.
- Facilitate cutover and go-live planning and execution to ensure a successful transition.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and escalate risks or blockers promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
- Proven background in managing or supporting ERP migration or conversion initiatives.
- Hands-on or project-level experience with migrations from SAP Business One and/or Sage to SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of ERP migration processes, including data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently within a fractional or part-time engagement model.
This opportunity is ideal for a consultant who thrives in a dynamic environment and can effectively balance multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication among diverse teams. The fractional nature of the role offers flexibility, making it suitable for professionals seeking part-time involvement in a complex ERP migration project.
