The School Principal role at TCF involves providing comprehensive leadership and management of a middle school campus located in Islamabad. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for maintaining instructional quality, overseeing curriculum implementation, ensuring student welfare, and supporting staff development. The Principal will manage daily school operations, including academic planning, classroom observations, and teacher mentoring, while ensuring compliance with TCF’s educational standards and policies. Engaging with families and the local community to promote a safe and inclusive learning environment is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, the Principal will monitor student performance and school outcomes, collaborate with regional and central teams to implement organizational initiatives, and regularly report on school progress and improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the middle school campus operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and maintain high instructional standards aligned with TCF policies.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide ongoing mentoring and professional development for teaching staff.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student welfare and engagement.
- Engage actively with students, parents, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships and support networks.
- Monitor academic performance and other key indicators to drive continuous school improvement.
- Collaborate with regional and central TCF teams to execute educational initiatives and contribute to organizational goals.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on school progress, challenges, and improvement strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in educational settings, particularly managing middle school operations and school teams.
- Strong expertise in curriculum development and the implementation of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, families, and community members.
- Experience working with middle school–age learners and a solid understanding of their academic and developmental needs.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Formal training in school administration is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts constructively, and maintain a safe, equitable, and inclusive school environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to use data-driven decision-making to enhance school performance.
