Section Lead-Cosmetics

SOUQ is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Section Lead for the Cosmetics department at its F-6 Markaz store in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong retail sales and customer service skills, a solid understanding of cosmetics and beauty products, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role involves managing daily operations, driving sales growth, maintaining excellent merchandising standards, and ensuring a superior customer experience within the cosmetics section.

Key Responsibilities
- Section Management: Oversee daily operations of the cosmetics section, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to store policies.
- Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets by monitoring section performance and implementing strategies to boost sales and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and motivate the cosmetics team to uphold high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Customer Experience: Assist customers with product selection, provide accurate product information, and handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cosmetics, skincare, makeup, beauty products, and current market trends.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure attractive and effective product displays, proper shelf arrangement, clear pricing, and overall appealing presentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate timely replenishment, minimize discrepancies, and report damaged, expired, or slow-moving products.
- Product Quality: Ensure all products are stored properly, correctly labeled, and within expiry dates.
- Promotions and Campaigns: Support promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches to drive sales.

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in cosmetics retail, beauty products, or FMCG retail is preferred. Supervisory or team lead experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of cosmetics and skincare products, product categories, and consumer preferences.
- Ability to monitor sales performance, manage inventory, and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and basic MS Excel is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at SOUQ’s F-6 Markaz store in Islamabad. The monthly salary range for this role is Rs39,000 to Rs46,000. Candidates with relevant cosmetics retail experience and strong leadership capabilities are encouraged to apply through the designated job platform.
