Key Responsibilities

Design and develop the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and architecture by evaluating business strategies and conducting thorough security vulnerability and risk assessments. Identify risks related to business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects. Continuously monitor and communicate emerging security threats, designing architectural elements to mitigate them effectively.

Identify security design gaps in current and proposed architectures and recommend enhancements. Conduct product fit analyses to ensure comprehensive security coverage across various architecture facets such as layered security, zoning, integration, API security, endpoint security, data security, and compliance with regulations. Perform security assessments aligned with frameworks like NIST, SANS, and CIS.

Provide technical support during the deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies. Demonstrate expertise in ITIL or related process domains including incident, configuration, change, and problem management. Assist with disaster recovery efforts in response to security breaches, attacks, or unauthorized activities. Lead responses to client RFPs, ensuring design assurance and alignment with business objectives.

Develop and manage a portfolio of future cybersecurity solutions encompassing systems, shared infrastructure, applications, and hardware to align with business outcomes. Analyze technology environments and client requirements to establish collaborative design frameworks. Create comprehensive RFPs tailored to client standards and technology stacks. Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and implementation of custom security solutions using modern technologies.

Evaluate current state solutions, identify improvements, and define target state architectures. Clearly communicate architectural goals, recommendations, reusable patterns, and investment roadmaps. Recommend solutions that integrate seamlessly with the overall technology ecosystem. Stay informed on industry and application trends to anticipate and plan for evolving IT needs.

Coordinate with stakeholders on cybersecurity matters, providing timely support and strategic recommendations. Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits related to information security. Support audits of security best practices and ensure implementation of security principles to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for team members and customers, including education on threats such as spam and malicious emails.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and risk management.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise security frameworks and architectures.
- Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as NIST, SANS, CIS.
- Experience with ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.
- Ability to conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
- Skilled in responding to RFPs and providing technical leadership for security solutions.
- Familiarity with layered security approaches, API security, endpoint protection, data security, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination, audit assistance, and security awareness training.
- Understanding of data privacy principles and their application in enterprise environments.
