Security Guards

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to provide professional security services aimed at protecting personnel, premises, assets, and property. The role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment by preventing unauthorized access, responding promptly to security incidents, and ensuring strict compliance with company and client security procedures. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, disciplined, and capable of handling various security-related tasks to uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control: Monitor and regulate the entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, contractors, and other personnel. Verify identification and authorization before granting access, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, and prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

Security & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, staying alert for suspicious activities or security threats. Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, gates, and entrances to safeguard client property, equipment, and vehicles. Report any unusual or suspicious activity immediately to the Supervisor.

Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and fire alarms. Take appropriate initial action within the scope of training and authority. Notify Supervisors and relevant management without delay and assist emergency services such as police, fire brigade, or medical teams when required.

Fire & Emergency Safety: Be familiar with emergency procedures, evacuation routes, fire exits, and emergency equipment. Assist in emergency evacuations and crowd control, ensure emergency exits remain clear, and report any fire hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.

Patrolling & Observation: Perform scheduled foot or mobile patrols of the premises, checking doors, gates, boundary walls, parking areas, and equipment. Record and report any irregularities, damage, or security concerns.

Weapons & Equipment: Where authorized, handle weapons strictly according to applicable laws, company SOPs, and safety procedures. Maintain custody and care of issued weapons, ammunition, communication devices, and other security equipment. Adhere to all weapon-handling instructions provided during training.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily occurrence books, visitor registers, vehicle logs, and handover/takeover records. Report incidents, accidents, suspicious activities, and security violations promptly. Ensure thorough and accurate shift handovers to the relieving Security Guard.

Professional Conduct: Maintain discipline, punctuality, alertness, and a professional appearance while on duty. Uphold confidentiality regarding client information and security arrangements. Follow all company and client SOPs, policies, and lawful orders. Avoid sleeping, unauthorized mobile phone use, leaving the post unattended, or engaging in unauthorized activities during duty hours.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education: Middle School / Matric or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum age: 23 years, subject to company/client requirements.
- Physically fit and medically suitable for security duties.
- Good eyesight and hearing.
- Effective communication skills and ability to understand basic written instructions.
- Valid CNIC and required employment/security documentation.
- For armed assignments, valid weapon authorization/licensing and relevant training are mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Ex-Armed Forces personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force) may be preferred for specialized assignments.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs50,000.
- Work involves 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Duties may be performed indoors or outdoors depending on the location.

The Security Guard must maintain continuous vigilance, prevent and report security breaches promptly, keep accurate records, adhere to all SOPs, and ensure proper shift handover to maintain seamless security coverage.
