Senior Account Receivable Executive ( Medical Billing )

Meds Nexus is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with over three years of dedicated experience in US healthcare receivables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex denials, optimizing accounts receivable cycles, and driving effective revenue recovery. Key Responsibilities

AR Lifecycle Management: Lead proactive follow-up efforts on unpaid, aging, and complex claims, ensuring adherence to standard billing cycle timeframes to accelerate collections.

Denial & Appeal Mastery: Analyze root causes of claim denials, prepare strategic appeals, and successfully overturn rejections to improve revenue outcomes.

Payment Integrity: Conduct thorough audits of insurance payments to verify contractual compliance, identify underpayments or discrepancies, and resolve issues directly with payers.

Secondary/Tertiary Billing: Manage timely billing processes for secondary and tertiary insurance accounts to ensure complete reimbursement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Team Leads and Managers to report key metrics, monitor trends, and enhance AR workflows for greater efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years as an AR Specialist within a US-based medical billing or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) environment, with a proven track record in handling healthcare receivables.

Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in major Electronic Health Record (EHR) and billing platforms such as AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks (eCW), Kareo, OfficeAlly, and Practice Fusion. Skilled in navigating payer portals and utilizing Microsoft Excel for detailed financial reporting.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of US payer guidelines, including Medicare, state Medicaid programs, and commercial insurance policies, ensuring compliance and accurate billing.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, combined with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage payer interactions and internal coordination.

Additional Information

This position requires in-person attendance at the office located on Murree Road, Rawalpindi. The role operates on a night shift schedule, so candidates should be able to commute accordingly.
