Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team remotely. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge combined with financial analysis skills. This role involves managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial performance, and preparing management reports to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations regularly.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Develop KPI reports and conduct financial data analysis to track business metrics.
- Investigate variances in financial results and provide explanations to management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies in all financial activities.
- Prepare cash flow reports and other relevant management reports as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate financial information effectively.
- Deliver clear and concise financial presentations and reports to management.
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned to support the finance team.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification preferred (completed or in progress).
- 3 to 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements independently.
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
- Knowledge of payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
- Experience preparing management reports and KPI dashboards.

This position is based in Pakistan and requires working hours aligned with 9 AM to 6 PM EST. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team while working remotely.
