LDP Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team at the Bahadurabad, Karachi office. This full-time, on-site role operates from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, advanced Excel capabilities, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. This position requires confidence in working directly with C-level executives and senior management, providing accurate financial insights and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting records and transactions using QuickBooks software.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, reports, and reconciliations leveraging advanced Excel skills.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and overall financial planning activities.
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver meaningful financial insights to management.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations tailored for C-level executives and senior management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Solid experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders effectively.
- Confidence in engaging with senior management and C-level executives to present financial information clearly.
