Senior AI Engineer - Project Manager

CodeBricks Global Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer / Technical Project Manager to join their team onsite in Wapda Town, Lahore. This full-time role requires a professional with over five years of experience who can lead AI-driven projects while actively contributing to the technical architecture, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AI engineering, Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and project management. They should be capable of managing technical teams, communicating effectively with clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex AI projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end AI, machine learning, and Generative AI projects from initial planning through deployment.
- Design and develop AI-powered applications utilizing LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.
- Manage teams of AI engineers, software developers, and cross-functional collaborators.
- Define project scope, establish timelines, set milestones, and ensure deliverables are met.
- Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and technical discussions.
- Translate client requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
- Make architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Oversee AI model integrations, API development, and cloud-based deployments.
- Monitor project progress, address blockers, and manage risks to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, and system performance.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in AI/ML development and project management.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready AI/ML solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Python programming and AI/ML frameworks.
- Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI technologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, and Hugging Face.
- Experience developing AI agents and automation workflows.
- Knowledge of vector databases including Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, or Weaviate.
- Understanding of REST APIs, FastAPI, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong skills in AI deployment, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated experience managing software or AI engineering projects with Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, ClickUp, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client communication abilities.
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering tasks with leadership and project management responsibilities.
- Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.
