Senior AI Full Stack Engineer

CubePeaks, a UAE-based Microsoft Solutions Partner specializing in AI-powered cloud solutions for manufacturing, production, and supply chain sectors across the Middle East, is expanding its AI engineering team in Karachi. The company focuses on delivering AI systems that operate on real factory floors, including diagnostics for offline machine issue resolution, automated supplier quality audits, AI-driven shift handover logging, and intelligent warehouse inspections. We are seeking a Senior AI Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end agentic AI systems that integrate backend services, agent orchestration, user interfaces, and cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with industrial clients to build reliable, secure, and practical AI solutions that go beyond demos and are production-ready.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop agentic AI applications utilizing large language models (LLMs), tool calling, multi-agent workflows, and agent harnesses.
- Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients to connect AI agents with enterprise systems such as Dynamics 365, ERPs, databases, and internal tools.
- Develop scalable and robust backend APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Create retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval evaluation.
- Design AI-driven automation solutions to replace repetitive manual workflows in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
- Develop clean, responsive front-end interfaces for AI products using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
- Deploy, host, and monitor AI solutions on Azure and/or AWS, focusing on security, cost-efficiency, and performance.
- Implement observability, evaluation, and guardrails for LLM applications in production settings.
- Collaborate with consultants and client stakeholders to translate operational challenges into effective AI solutions.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to establishing engineering standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years working on LLM or generative AI applications.
- Demonstrated success in building, deploying, and maintaining AI solutions in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and extensive hands-on experience with FastAPI.
- Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen.
- Knowledge of MCP and agent tool-integration patterns.
- Experience with agent harnesses and SDKs like Claude Agent SDK or OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or custom pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Azure services (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, App Service, Functions, AKS, Cosmos DB, AI Search) and/or AWS services (Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3).
- Experience working with vector databases including Azure AI Search, Pinecone, pgvector, or Qdrant.
- Front-end development skills using React, Next.js, or comparable modern frameworks.
- Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Strong grasp of API design, authentication mechanisms, and data security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Dataverse.
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial domains.
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation and observability tools such as LangSmith, Langfuse, or Arize.
- Exposure to computer vision, OCR, or speech-to-text technologies.
- Experience with on-device or offline-capable AI deployments.
- Microsoft Azure AI certifications (e.g., AI-102, AZ-204) are a plus.
