RizViz International Impex is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to lead and manage AI and machine learning projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable, production-ready AI solutions, with a focus on Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and other advanced AI technologies. This role requires hands-on leadership in technical decision-making, mentoring junior engineers, and driving the successful deployment of AI systems. The position is based onsite in Bahria Town, Lahore, and operates during night shift hours from 6 PM to 2 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AI/ML projects, from initial development to deployment and maintenance.
- Design, build, and optimize solutions involving LLMs, RAG, and Generative AI technologies.
- Architect scalable AI systems that integrate APIs, models, AI agents, and vector databases effectively.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Develop and enhance machine learning pipelines using Python and contemporary AI/ML frameworks.
- Drive technical discussions, make informed architectural decisions, and establish best practices within the engineering team.
- Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge AI tools and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields.
- Proficient in Python programming and experienced with machine learning frameworks.
- Strong expertise in LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Proven track record of building and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to effectively guide teams and projects.
