Our client, Computer House, is seeking a Senior Android Developer based in Lahore to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in Android development and a strong grasp of mobile application architecture, user interface design, and performance optimization. This role is primarily focused on individual contribution and does not involve team management responsibilities. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain Android applications with a focus on high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into fully functional applications.
- Implement API integrations and manage local databases to support app functionality.
- Apply material design principles and best practices to enhance the user interface and overall experience.
- Utilize version control systems to track changes and collaborate efficiently within the development team.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and stability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve performance issues and bugs.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java programming languages.
- Experience with API integration and local database management.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of material design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
- Proven ability to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and stability.
- Experience in rigorous app testing and debugging to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
