Our client, Computer House, is seeking a Senior Android Developer based in Lahore to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in Android development, with a strong grasp of mobile application architecture, user interface design, and performance optimization. This role emphasizes individual contribution and does not include team management responsibilities. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into fully functional applications.
- Implement API integrations and manage local databases to support app functionality.
- Apply material design principles and best practices to enhance the user interface and overall experience.
- Utilize version control systems to track code changes and collaborate effectively within the development team.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and stability to ensure smooth operation.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve performance issues and bugs.
- Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java programming languages.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles, especially material design guidelines.
