Senior AR Executive – US Medical Billing

Meds Nexus is looking for a detail-oriented Senior AR Executive to oversee complex accounts receivable processes for US medical billing accounts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding client revenue by addressing persistent claim denials, managing strategic appeals, and ensuring strict adherence to contract terms. This position requires a proactive approach to resolving billing challenges and maintaining compliance with medical billing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Management: Review patient claims thoroughly to ensure accuracy, coding compliance, and completeness before submission, reducing the likelihood of rejections.

Advanced AR Follow-Up: Monitor and resolve aged, high-value, and complex unpaid claims across multiple insurance levels, including Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary payers.

Appeals & Escalations: Prepare and submit detailed Level 1 and Level 2 appeals supported by clinical documentation to overturn incorrect claim denials.

Reporting & Analytics: Produce daily and weekly accounts receivable trend analyses, research summaries, and performance reports using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Mentorship: Serve as a subject matter expert by guiding and supporting junior billing staff with complex workflow issues and escalations.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of focused experience in US medical billing and accounts receivable management.

Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Kareo/Tebra, and EncoderPro software platforms.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities for effective interaction with payers and clients.

Additional Information

This role is based in Rawalpindi, with work conducted in person during night shifts. Candidates should be able to commute to the office located at Asghar Mall, Murree Road.
