The Aga Khan University (AKU), established in 1983 as Pakistan’s first private international university, is dedicated to providing education, research, and healthcare services of international standards relevant to Pakistan and the region. The University operates multiple teaching sites across Pakistan, East Africa, the United Kingdom, and Afghanistan, and is part of the Aga Khan Development Network. The Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), founded in 1993, focuses on educational reform and improvement, particularly in developing countries, through innovation, policy development, training, research, and practice. This position is a grant-funded contractual role based in Karachi, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar for meetings.
- Communicate effectively with the project team and other stakeholders regarding events and activities.
- Take detailed notes and prepare accurate meeting minutes.
- Prepare work schedules and travel plans for the project team.
- Arrange necessary resources, such as stationery, for meetings and events.
- Assist the Programme Coordinator in organizing events, including managing logistics and communication.
- Support the Project Coordinator, Programme Lead, and Team Leads in gathering and preparing relevant documents for review.
- Attend events such as training sessions and workshops as required.
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by supervisors, Programme Lead, Team Leads, and team members.

Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from a reputable national or international university; higher qualifications will be considered an advantage.
- At least one year of experience, preferably in roles involving day-to-day project operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Urdu.
- Ability to prepare detailed work schedules and travel itineraries.
- Proven organizational skills for managing events, including logistics and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
