We are looking for a GYN Oncology Professional Billing AR Specialist with 2 to 3 years of experience in insurance accounts receivable (AR) and denial management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GYN Oncology professional billing and AR follow-up, with a proven track record of effectively managing denials, appeals, underpayments, claim issues, and payer communications. This role requires familiarity with California payers and the processes involved with Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) and medical groups.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage professional billing and accounts receivable follow-up specifically within GYN Oncology.
- Handle insurance denials, appeals, and underpayments to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
- Investigate and resolve claim issues by working closely with payers and internal teams.
- Conduct payer follow-up to expedite claim processing and payment.
- Collaborate with California-based IPAs and medical groups to ensure compliance and smooth billing operations.
- Utilize billing software such as Centricity or Unlimited Financials (UF) to process and track claims.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to AR and denial management activities.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of experience in insurance AR and denial management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of GYN Oncology professional billing and AR follow-up procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in handling denials, appeals, underpayments, and claim resolution.
- Solid understanding of California payers and the operational processes of IPAs and medical groups.
- Proficiency in using billing systems such as Centricity or Unlimited Financials (UF).

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Availity or Waystar platforms is considered a plus.
- Prior work experience with California-based practices or IPAs is highly preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on knowledge of regional payer requirements and billing nuances will be given strong consideration.
