Senior Auditor | Lahore (On-site) | SAR Salary

A leading IT solutions provider based in Lahore is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to strengthen the organization’s financial integrity. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience from a Big 4 accounting firm and will be responsible for managing audit projects, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute audit assignments from planning through completion, adhering to established audit methodologies and quality standards.
- Identify, assess, and document financial and operational risks, recommending effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, staying informed about regulatory changes and advising on necessary adjustments.
- Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest improvements to enhance the reliability of financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance to develop their skills and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Serve as the primary client contact, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with audit services.
- Promote continuous improvement in audit processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of auditing experience, with significant exposure at a Big 4 firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP), and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing audit teams and projects.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
