Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to join our team in Sweden on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of professional experience, particularly within the Asset Management domain. Fluency in both Swedish and English is mandatory, and Swedish nationality is preferred. This is a 12-month contract role focused on developing and maintaining backend systems, optimizing database structures, and supporting complex integrations in a dynamic, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET platform.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and data models to support business needs.
- Build and support complex integrations and data flow processes across various systems.
- Configure and manage application and integration environments, ensuring stability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Apply DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly and optimize system performance for reliability.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution activities to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in backend development using C# and .NET Framework/.NET.
- Proven experience working within the Asset Management domain is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, including database development and data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex integrations and data flows.
- Extensive experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing application and integration environments.
- Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with version control and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure DevOps or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience in incident management and system performance optimization.
- Experience in requirements gathering and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor.
- Understanding of frontend and backend system interactions, contributing to full-stack development environments.
- Exposure to API integration and modern frontend architectures is a plus.
