Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to join our team in Sweden on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of experience and must be fluent in both Swedish and English. This role is open primarily to Swedish nationals and is initially contracted for 12 months. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining backend systems within the Asset Management domain, ensuring robust performance and seamless integration across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET. Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and data models to support business needs. Build and support complex integrations and data flow processes, ensuring efficient and reliable data exchange. Configure and manage application and integration environments to maintain system stability.

Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated deployment processes to streamline releases. Apply DevOps best practices along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to enhance operational efficiency. Troubleshoot production issues promptly and optimize system performance to meet service level agreements.

Conduct thorough requirements analysis and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. Participate actively in Agile development environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution activities to ensure high availability and reliability.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of backend development experience using C# and .NET Framework/.NET is essential. Proven experience working within the Asset Management domain is mandatory. Strong expertise in SQL Server, including database development and data modeling, is required.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex integrations and data flows is necessary. Experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments, including hands-on configuration of application and integration environments, is expected. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes is a must.

Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required. Proficiency with tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or their equivalents is essential. Strong troubleshooting skills, incident management experience, and performance optimization capabilities are critical. Experience in requirements analysis and effective collaboration with stakeholders is important. Previous work experience within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor is advantageous. A solid understanding of frontend and backend system interactions will be beneficial. Exposure to full-stack development environments is a plus. Knowledge of API integration and modern frontend architectures will be considered an asset.
