Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to join our team on a full-time basis in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of experience and must be fluent in both Swedish and English. This role is specifically open to Swedish nationals and offers a 12-month contract. The position involves working within the Asset Management domain, focusing on backend development, database management, and integration processes in a Microsoft-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET platform.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and data models to support application needs.
- Build and support complex integrations and manage data flow processes across systems.
- Configure and manage application and integration environments to ensure stability and performance.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Apply DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly and optimize system performance for reliability.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Support application deployment, ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution activities to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience using C# and .NET Framework/.NET.
- Proven experience working within the Asset Management domain is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, including database development and data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex integrations and data flows.
- Extensive experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments.
- Hands-on experience in establishing and configuring application and integration environments.
- Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines along with automated build and release processes.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with version control and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure DevOps or equivalents.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, incident management, and system performance optimization.
- Experience in requirements gathering and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor.
- Understanding of the interaction between frontend and backend systems.
- Exposure to full-stack development environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of API integration and modern frontend architectures is a plus.
