Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to join our team on a full-time basis in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of professional experience and possess fluency in both Swedish and English, with Swedish being mandatory. This role is specifically open to Swedish nationals and offers a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will work primarily within the Asset Management domain, contributing to the development and maintenance of backend systems and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining backend applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET is a core part of this role. You will design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and data models to support business needs. Building and supporting complex integrations and data flow processes will be essential, along with configuring and managing application and integration environments.

You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes, applying DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Troubleshooting production issues and optimizing system performance will be critical to ensuring smooth operations.

Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, you will conduct requirements analysis and participate actively in Agile development environments, utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Supporting application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution activities will round out your responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of backend development experience using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET. Experience within the Asset Management domain is mandatory. Strong expertise in SQL Server, including database development and data modeling, is required.

You should have a proven track record in developing and maintaining complex integrations and data flows, with solid experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments. Hands-on experience in establishing and configuring application and integration environments is essential.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes is expected, along with practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience working with Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools is necessary.

Strong troubleshooting skills, incident management capabilities, and performance optimization experience are critical. Additionally, you should be comfortable conducting requirements analysis and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor is a plus. A good understanding of frontend and backend system interactions will be beneficial. Exposure to full-stack development environments and knowledge of API integration and modern frontend architectures will be considered an advantage.
