Senior BI Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior BI Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into meaningful insights by developing advanced analytics, reports, and dashboards based on enterprise systems such as ERP, HCM, and SCM. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to deliver impactful reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions across Oracle SaaS ERP, Financials, SCM, and HCM systems.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Develop and optimize reports using BI tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), and other reporting platforms.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
- Optimize queries and reporting processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay current with emerging BI tools, reporting technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, BI Engineering, Data Analytics, or enterprise reporting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of enterprise BI and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Telerik, or similar platforms is highly valued. Candidates with solid BI fundamentals will also be considered.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP).
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud applications, especially ERP, Financials, SCM, or HCM modules.
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
- Experience in enterprise reporting, data integration, and analytics solutions.
- Relevant certifications in BI tools, data analytics, or Oracle technologies are a plus.
