As a Business Analyst – AI & Agentic Solutions, you will serve as a vital link between clients, business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams. Your role involves leveraging a strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-enabled products to analyze business problems, existing processes, and systems. You will identify opportunities where AI can add value and translate these into clear product and solution requirements. This position focuses on analysis and solution design rather than software development or coding. You will independently research AI models, APIs, platforms, and automation tools, collaborating closely with engineering teams to integrate these technologies effectively. Strong analytical, documentation, and client communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering
Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives, processes, pain points, and constraints. Conduct discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops to gather and validate requirements. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, developing detailed documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows. Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, driving their resolution while maintaining requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Product & Solution Analysis
Evaluate requirements for user experience, business value, feasibility, and scalability. Translate business ideas into structured features, workflows, and user journeys. Collaborate with product, UI/UX, AI, engineering, and QA teams to create actionable development tasks. Manage product backlogs and support prioritization based on value and impact. Act as the voice of the client and end user during design and implementation phases, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, UAT, and release planning.

AI & Agentic AI Analysis
Identify opportunities for Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), conversational AI, and intelligent automation. Apply knowledge of LLMs, multimodal models, embeddings, vector databases, agents, prompt engineering, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Translate processes into agentic workflows covering triggers, decisions, roles, tools, approvals, and exception handling. Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to ensure implementable solutions. Assess AI risks such as hallucinations, privacy, accuracy, security, latency, and cost.

AI Technology & Solution Research
Independently research AI models, APIs, platforms, open-source solutions, agentic frameworks, and automation tools. Assess existing SaaS, APIs, and open-source models before recommending custom development. Compare options based on capabilities, licensing, pricing, integration complexity, scalability, and vendor dependency. Explore low-code/no-code orchestration tools and conduct hands-on experimentation to understand AI tool capabilities.

Documentation & Solution Communication
Produce clear, structured, client-ready documentation including process diagrams, workflows, user journeys, use cases, and agentic workflow diagrams. Document AI use cases, system interactions, integrations, expected behaviors, and exception scenarios. Prepare solution concept documents, gap analyses, research reports, and presentations. Communicate technical concepts in business-friendly language and maintain version-controlled documentation throughout the project.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as the bridge between clients, stakeholders, product, AI, development, QA, and project management teams. Lead or participate in client meetings, presenting requirements, workflows, and solution concepts. Manage clarifications, document decisions, and align expectations between clients and delivery teams. Support client demos, UAT, feedback collection, and solution acceptance.

Quality & Acceptance
Define measurable acceptance criteria for AI-enabled and conventional features. Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements. Define evaluation scenarios for AI assistants, chatbots, and agentic workflows. Support validation of conversational AI for accuracy, relevance, and fallback behavior. Participate in UAT to ensure delivery meets documented requirements and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- 4–8 years of relevant experience with strong business analysis fundamentals and demonstrated expertise in AI-enabled products beyond basic prompt usage.
- Proficient in requirements elicitation, stakeholder interviews, workshops, process analysis, and requirements management.

- Ability to understand overall product vision, user journeys, business objectives, and future evolution.
- Proficient with modeling tools such as Draw.io, Microsoft Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, or Figma.
- Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, knowledge bases, and AI automation.
- Capable of independently researching AI models, APIs, SaaS platforms, open-source technologies, and automation tools.
- Good conceptual understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, authentication, and data flows (coding not required).
- Excellent analytical, research, and structured recommendation skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing client relationships and coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.
- User-centric mindset with the ability to represent client and end-user needs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and tools like JIRA or ClickUp.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation, traceability, and decision logging.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-evolving AI landscape.
