Senior Business Analyst

Ciklum is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their full-time team in Pakistan. As a custom product engineering company, Ciklum supports multinational organizations and growing startups in solving complex business challenges. This role involves contributing to a nationwide government platform modernization project focused on digital transformation through advanced web portals, mobile applications, CRM systems, predictive analytics, and AI. The goal is to enhance services for government officials, the legal ecosystem, and citizens while ensuring integration, scalability, and strict performance and security standards. The Senior Business Analyst will work within a cross-functional team alongside architects, developers, product owners, and UX/UI designers to define and communicate requirements that drive agile delivery of new features and improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze capability gaps within the customer’s organization and recommend strategic improvements and tailored solutions.
- Identify and define core business needs, ensuring a clear understanding of stakeholder impact and strategic project outlook.
- Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders, project managers, and teams to build consensus and shared understanding of solutions.
- Manage requirements communication by adapting approaches to project specifics and stakeholder preferences.
- Facilitate and moderate high-stakes meetings and workshops to drive consensus and decision-making.
- Govern solution scope by detecting, tracking, and resolving changes, conflicts, and requirements-related issues.
- Prioritize requirements and manage allocation while defining non-functional requirements, external interfaces, and constraints.
- Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering professional growth and excellence.
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the corporate knowledge base.
- Partner with product managers on product strategy to ensure long-term value delivery.
- Evaluate and optimize business analysis processes, proposing actionable improvements.
- Establish and maintain robust requirements lifecycle processes from inception through delivery.
- Oversee solution implementation and conduct thorough internal and external acceptance testing.
- Champion customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and proactive feedback loops.

Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to large audiences and senior management.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT industry experience, including collaboration with international clients and involvement in solution definition from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and at least 1 year of experience practicing Agile methodologies focused on value delivery.
- Proven experience in establishing business analysis processes, including elicitation, decomposition, modeling, and change management.
- Expert knowledge in managing the requirements lifecycle, including traceability, prioritization, and documentation.
- Proficiency in UML and BPMN modeling, adaptable to project contexts.
- Advanced skills in defining solution roadmaps, managing product scope, and backlog prioritization to avoid scope creep.
- Mastery of requirements management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with various prototyping software.
- Strong awareness of IT industry trends, digitalization, and business process optimization.
- Ability to mentor colleagues and provide constructive feedback while maintaining accountability for deliverables.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with ownership of the business analysis scope during discovery and pre-sales phases.
- Desirable technical knowledge includes understanding major architectural types, databases, query writing, APIs (REST, contracts, error handling), data modeling, and asynchronous processing.
