Senior Business Analyst - Morning Shift

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst with over four years of experience to act as a vital link between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of software development projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Engage with clients and stakeholders through interviews and workshops to understand business needs. Collect, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements. Translate these into clear functional specifications and user stories while identifying business objectives, dependencies, constraints, and gaps. Ensure alignment with project goals and technical feasibility.

- SOW & SRS Documentation: Prepare detailed Mobile Application Scope of Work (SOW) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS). Define project scope, functional requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria. Maintain use cases, process flows, and supporting documentation throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

- Business Process & Workflow Analysis: Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Design optimized workflows aligned with business objectives, focusing on automation and operational efficiency. Develop process flows and use cases to clearly communicate requirements to technical teams.

- Stakeholder & Client Management: Serve as the primary liaison among clients, business stakeholders, development teams, QA, UI/UX designers, and Project Managers. Facilitate clear communication, manage requirement clarifications, changes, dependencies, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

- Agile & SDLC Practices: Operate effectively within Agile/Scrum environments by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews. Develop and maintain user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability and proper communication of requirements throughout the SDLC. Collaborate closely with development and QA teams for accurate implementation.

- UAT & Quality Assurance Support: Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on requirements. Support User Acceptance Testing by validating delivered functionality and collaborating with QA to resolve defects. Provide feedback and assist in issue resolution during testing and deployment phases.

- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze project data to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making. Track requirements, progress, risks, and dependencies, providing regular status updates to management and stakeholders.

- UI/UX & Solution Analysis: Work with UI/UX teams to ensure user requirements translate into intuitive solutions. Participate in wireframing and prototyping discussions, reviewing UI/UX proposals against business needs to maintain alignment with user experience goals.

- Technical & Integration Understanding: Assess technical feasibility of requirements alongside development teams. Understand web, mobile, and cloud architectures, APIs, system integrations, and data flows. Collaborate to resolve requirement-related challenges and ensure practical, feasible solutions.

- Documentation, Tools & Continuous Improvement: Maintain documentation using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office. Ensure traceability between requirements, user stories, test scenarios, and delivered features. Identify opportunities to enhance business analysis processes and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in software development environments.
- Proven expertise in client requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience preparing Mobile Application Scope of Work (SOW) and Software Requirements Specification (SRS).
- Strong skills in functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience supporting UAT, defining test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Development, QA, UI/UX, and Project Management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with mobile application projects and enterprise-level software.
- Familiarity with web and cloud applications.
- Practical knowledge of UI/UX design, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Understanding of API and system integrations.
- Background in process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Experience preparing project status and management reports.
- Strong grasp of technical feasibility and software solution design.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional software development teams.

This is a full-time, in-person position. Candidates will be asked to provide examples of process improvements, data analysis experience, involvement in defining test scenarios and UAT, and their approach to gathering and documenting requirements.
