Senior Computer Aided Design Designer

The Senior Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role is responsible for producing, reviewing, and refining detailed technical and construction drawings that support various design and engineering projects. The Senior CAD Designer will develop CAD models, update design documentation, and collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to ensure all drawings meet relevant standards and specifications. The position requires translating conceptual ideas into precise technical designs, troubleshooting design challenges, and maintaining well-organized project files. Additionally, the Senior CAD Designer will mentor junior designers, contribute to process improvements, and support quality assurance efforts for all design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and refine detailed CAD models and technical drawings to support design and engineering projects.
- Review and update design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, project teams, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into buildable and compliant designs.
- Troubleshoot design issues and provide effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access and reference.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing design quality and efficiency.
- Support quality assurance activities to ensure all design outputs meet company and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

- Proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software with experience in complex modeling and technical drafting.
- Skilled in producing precise, clear, and professional technical and construction drawings.
- Knowledgeable in construction drawings and design engineering principles to translate concepts into compliant plans.
- Relevant experience in design projects related to residential, commercial, or industrial sectors, ideally within individual and family services or similar fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating within multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Experience in mentoring or leading design teams is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality standards, safety codes, and local building regulations is an advantage.
