Key Responsibilities

Consulting Execution:
Senior Consultants act as ambassadors of Wipro’s values, consistently securing positive client feedback. They coordinate teams, ensuring the quality of deliverables while demonstrating flexibility in managing resources with diverse expertise. With a strong delivery focus and a proactive attitude, they apply both hard and soft skills effectively. Senior Consultants also coach and mentor team members and client staff, building trust through quality and timely delivery. They engage clients effectively, extracting key information and maintaining up-to-date project administration such as Statements of Work (SoW) and tagging.

Business Development:
They maintain high personal utilization rates aligned with organizational goals and consistently negotiate contract extensions with clients. Senior Consultants develop and leverage networks within client organizations, providing insights to solve business challenges. They lead smaller sales meetings and contribute to proposal development, supporting sales teams as needed. Additionally, they anchor market research activities and play a significant role in identifying new opportunities, escalating potential pursuits to practice leadership.

Thought Leadership:
Senior Consultants develop insights into industry and technology trends, sharing knowledge across the practice and contributing to team thought leadership. They document their project experiences and, when appropriate, produce case studies to highlight successful engagements.

Contribution to Practice and Wipro:
They ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks, including timesheets, appraisals, and expenses. Senior Consultants actively contribute to internal initiatives, suggest improvements by leveraging tools and intellectual property, and promote knowledge sharing through Wipro’s knowledge management platforms. They engage with consulting and delivery teams to foster collaboration and growth, participate in communities of practice, and propose new service offerings. They also provide training and develop reusable process assets, ensuring delivery approaches consider downstream requirements.

Deliverables and Strategic Objectives:
Senior Consultants are expected to drive growth in consulting revenues by supporting business performance against quarterly and annual targets. They focus on flawless delivery of transformation engagements, measured through personal utilization, number of RFI/RFP responses, transformation projects delivered, client testimonials, and customer satisfaction scores. They generate business impact by identifying downstream opportunities and contribute to market positioning through thought leadership, white papers, and innovative consulting solutions. They support account leadership in expanding consulting portfolios and growing client relationships.

Talent Development and Collaboration:
They commit to continuous learning with a minimum of 32 hours of annual training covering new industries, business themes, technologies, and frameworks. Senior Consultants actively participate in people development, collaboration across practices, and knowledge management by contributing assets to the consulting community.

Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of relevant consulting experience, preferably within the Utilities domain.
- Proven ability to manage consulting projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong client engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and proposal leadership.
- Ability to mentor and coach team members effectively.
- Familiarity with project administration and knowledge management systems.
