We are seeking a skilled Content Writer with expertise in healthcare and medical billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging content that simplifies complex medical billing and healthcare concepts. This role involves producing SEO-optimized blogs, articles, website pages, and marketing materials that align with industry standards and support our marketing and medical billing teams. The position requires strong research abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. This is a full-time, in-person role offering a competitive salary starting from Rs 80,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop high-quality, accurate content related to healthcare and medical billing.
- Write SEO-optimized blogs, service pages, landing pages, social media content, and marketing materials.
- Create content covering topics such as medical billing, medical coding, revenue cycle management (RCM), claims processing, denial management, accounts receivable, credentialing, eligibility verification, prior authorization, and insurance processes.
- Utilize reliable and credible sources to research healthcare topics thoroughly.
- Simplify complex healthcare and medical billing concepts into clear, reader-friendly language.
- Ensure all content is factually accurate, well-structured, and adheres to industry standards.
- Optimize content for search engines through effective keyword placement, headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, readability, and consistency.
- Update and enhance existing healthcare and medical billing content as needed.
- Collaborate with SEO, marketing, and medical billing teams to develop relevant and impactful content.
- Follow company guidelines, brand tone, and content standards consistently.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines reliably.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, ideally within healthcare, medical billing, medical coding, or RCM industries.
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare and medical billing terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Good knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Ability to produce original, informative, and engaging content tailored to the target audience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy.
- Capability to comprehend and simplify technical healthcare information.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
- A portfolio showcasing healthcare, medical billing, or related content writing experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Medical Billing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and Medical Coding.
- Understanding of Claims Submission and Processing, Denial Management, and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Knowledge of Provider Credentialing, Eligibility & Benefits Verification, and Prior Authorization processes.
- Experience with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding systems, Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA).
- Awareness of U.S. healthcare insurance regulations and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience with healthcare-specific SEO strategies.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least 4 years of professional content writing experience, preferably with direct exposure to healthcare, medical billing, RCM, or medical coding content.
