We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience in mobile gaming or consumer app environments to join our team. This role focuses on delivering deep analytical insights across player behavior, user acquisition, monetization, live-ops, and experimentation. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data querying, dashboard creation, and statistical analysis, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance player engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Player Behaviour & Retention Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards that track player health, retention, engagement, and churn. Conduct cohort, funnel, and segmentation analyses to reveal behavioral patterns. Identify risks of churn and opportunities for engagement, providing actionable insights to product and live-ops teams.
User Acquisition & Paid Channel Performance: Manage reporting on user acquisition (UA) performance across paid channels, monitoring acquisition, conversion, and return on ad spend (ROAS). Build attribution dashboards and analyze campaign, channel, creative, and geographic performance to optimize marketing efforts. Deliver post-campaign insights, track paid versus organic trends, and highlight top-performing creatives.
Monetisation & Revenue Analytics: Monitor revenue streams across in-app purchases (IAP), geographies, platforms, and player segments while tracking key monetization metrics. Develop lifetime value (LTV) models, evaluate IAP offer performance, and identify high-value payer groups to maximize revenue. Reconcile platform revenue, investigate anomalies, and provide recommendations to support monetization strategies.
Live-Ops & Event Tracking: Oversee live-ops event tracking, ensuring accurate data instrumentation and real-time monitoring. Analyze event impact on engagement, retention, and revenue through pre- and post-event KPI assessments. Maintain historical event performance data and deliver timely reports with actionable recommendations.
A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across product features, monetization, and store interfaces. Ensure statistical rigor by defining success metrics, validating test integrity, and providing data-driven recommendations. Manage an experimentation backlog to prioritize and scale impactful findings.
