Senior Data Engineer

As part of this commitment, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Analytics & Insights Experience (AIX) team. This role plays a critical part in supporting data science and engineering projects by developing scalable data models, pipelines, and cloud-based analytics solutions. The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, Project Leads, and Managers to implement, migrate, and modernize data infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient data delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze raw data and develop, maintain, and optimize datasets and data pipelines to support analytics and business needs.
- Enhance data quality, system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Design and build data engineering solutions within cloud environments, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture and design specifications.
- Work independently and collaboratively within large, cross-functional project teams.
- Support implementation, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives across data platforms.
- Develop internal training materials, establish processes, standards, and best practices to improve team capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Data Engineers and other team members.
- Continuously advance technical skills through hands-on experience and formal learning opportunities.
- Assist with pre-sales activities by providing technical input and effort estimations.
- Collaborate with Project Management to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data engineering, including data modeling, pipeline development, and cloud platform expertise.
- Strong proficiency with cloud technologies and data engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience working in diverse teams and engaging with various stakeholders.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and training materials.
- Results-oriented mindset with flexibility, resourcefulness, and a customer-focused approach.
