Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer based in Pakistan to join a remote consulting opportunity with US-based clients. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and AWS services.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows leveraging Python and SQL.
- Develop dbt models, macros, tests, and reusable data transformation frameworks.
- Utilize AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and IAM for data processing and management.
- Optimize Snowflake query performance and manage data warehouse costs efficiently.
- Collaborate directly with US-based engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high data quality standards.
- Participate actively in technical discussions, Agile ceremonies, and client meetings.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of professional data engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and AWS cloud services.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based architectures.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, capable of engaging in technical interviews and client interactions.
- Ability to maintain a quiet, professional remote work environment with reliable HD webcam and clear audio setup.
- Stable, high-speed internet connection suitable for video conferencing and remote collaboration.
- Availability to work overlapping hours with US-based clients as per project requirements.
