Senior Data Scientist ( 4 months contractual role)

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. This role involves working with large datasets to identify trends and insights, developing predictive models, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of data science projects, including problem definition, data collection, analysis, modeling, and deployment of machine learning solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover business opportunities and translate them into actionable data science initiatives.
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models to address complex business challenges.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to extract meaningful insights and detect patterns within large, complex datasets.
- Partner with data engineers to develop scalable and reliable data pipelines.
- Assess and validate models using appropriate performance metrics and statistical methods.
- Communicate findings and insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data science and machine learning.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists within the team.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a data scientist in an industry setting.
- Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development.
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
