Senior Design & Application Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Design & Application Engineer to join our team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of automation and electrical engineering solutions, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, industry standards, company procedures, and client requirements. The successful candidate will be actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final handover, including site activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, system modifications, and training. A solid understanding of major control systems and their operational principles is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of control system hardware, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements throughout all project phases.
- Participate in site activities such as FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
- Provide technical support during system startup and final handover to clients.
- Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on system functionality and operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Maintain clear and effective communication of technical information to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in Industrial Automation and Control Systems.
- Proven expertise in hardware design for control systems, particularly with DCS.
- Strong knowledge of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
- Hands-on experience with system testing, FAT, commissioning, and site work.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
