Senior Design Specialist

You will lead the design function at AIO Marketing with full ownership, overseeing all creative output including social media, paid ads, web pages, sales decks, collateral, and event materials. This role involves managing the entire design system—standards, workflows, tooling, and integration of motion and 3D elements. You will maintain a sharp eye for detail, balancing quality and speed to consistently deliver exceptional work. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be part of a dynamic in-house marketing team based in Islamabad that supports independent restaurants across the U.S. You will collaborate closely with social, product marketing, website, sales teams, and the U.S. office, ensuring all design work is on brand, high quality, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design function, including brand system management, quality standards, project intake, prioritization, turnaround SLAs, tooling, and file organization.
- Personally design high-impact projects such as campaign creatives, website pages, sales decks, launch assets, and event collateral.
- Establish and enforce the AIO brand system across designers, motion, and 3D teams to ensure consistent, on-brand output as the company scales.
- Develop templates, component libraries, and AI-assisted workflows to enable rapid delivery of routine requests while allocating sufficient time for premium projects.
- Oversee and direct motion graphics and 3D content as the single point of accountability for AIO’s visual identity.
- Manage the design roadmap and coordinate regular check-ins with social, product marketing, website, sales, and U.S. teams.
- Utilize AI design tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, Figma AI, and Claude daily to ideate, iterate, and produce creative assets.
- Foster team growth through constructive feedback, maintaining high standards, and contributing to hiring as the design team expands.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of design experience, including 1–2 years leading design projects or small teams, either in-house or at an agency, with a digital-first focus.
- A portfolio showcasing at least six projects demonstrating a range of work (campaigns, web, collateral, decks) with clear descriptions of your role.
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), with the ability to direct motion and 3D work even if not producing it yourself.
- Proven track record of ownership, having built or managed a design system, workflow, or function with measurable improvements.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with a strong bias for shipping quality work efficiently, with the ability to articulate how you balance both.
- Daily experience using AI design tools, with a nuanced understanding of their strengths and limitations.
- A strong sense of ownership and initiative, managing your workload proactively without needing detailed supervision.
- Ability to deliver fast, accurate work by asking the right questions upfront and proposing solutions rather than open-ended issues.
- Comfortable working directly with U.S.-based teams across time zones, coordinating without requiring formal introductions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
