Senior Developer - Salesforce

EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) team in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Salesforce Senior Developer to join their dynamic workforce. As part of a global network supporting EY’s consulting, assurance, tax, strategy, and knowledge services, this role plays a vital part in delivering innovative Salesforce solutions that enhance client service delivery. The successful candidate will focus on developing and customizing Salesforce applications, leveraging advanced technical skills to support EY’s commitment to building a better working world through technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components. Build Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, and write optimized SOQL/SOSL queries to meet business needs. Configure the Salesforce platform in alignment with organizational requirements. Participate actively in the design, testing, deployment, and documentation of applications. Assist in creating comprehensive testing plans and provide training to end users to ensure smooth adoption. Mentor junior developers and support the setup and maintenance of development environments. Provide ongoing technical support including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and application enhancements.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development. Strong expertise in Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura framework is essential. Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations is required. A solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and governor limits is necessary. Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies is expected. Proficiency in relational databases, data modeling, and ETL processes is important. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery is also required. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
