Senior DevOps Engineer

Orzeh Technologies, a Lahore-based software and AI company, specializes in delivering reliable and secure AI and data systems for real production environments. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team, open to candidates based in Pakistan. This role focuses on supporting and modernizing hybrid infrastructure across both Windows and Linux platforms, blending Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure management. You will play a key role in maintaining critical production applications, including AI/ML workloads, and transforming manual processes into automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy, automating build, testing, deployment, rollback, and release processes.
- Manage and configure Windows servers, Nginx web servers, and large-scale Linux environments.
- Administer Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, and networking, with additional exposure to AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows automation and other scripting solutions to minimize manual tasks.
- Ensure production environment reliability by participating in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and implementing monitoring and observability tools.
- Handle networking and security tasks, including DNS management (GoDaddy, Cloudflare), load balancing, and infrastructure security support.
- Assist with automated QA testing using Selenium and support deployment and operation of AI/ML workloads, including GPU-enabled infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering within distributed systems.
- Proven hands-on experience with Jenkins and Groovy in production environments.
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation purposes.
- Experience managing Windows servers and Nginx in live production settings.
- Solid working knowledge of Docker containerization and Azure cloud services.
- Comprehensive understanding of DNS management and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Familiarity with managing Kubernetes clusters and supporting AI/ML or GPU-intensive workloads.
- Background in writing automated tests using Selenium.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
