We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with over five years of hands-on experience in managing and automating cloud infrastructure, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in operating production-grade Azure and Kubernetes clusters, building robust CI/CD pipelines, and resolving complex infrastructure challenges. This role demands expertise in designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions, as well as the ability to independently troubleshoot and optimize enterprise cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, incorporating automated builds, testing, container image publishing, and deployments.
- Manage Docker containers, Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and other container registries.
- Implement GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD, including environment configuration, automated synchronization, and rollback capabilities.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Configure and maintain Azure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, including availability zones, regional failover, backups, and recovery testing.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or SigNoz.
- Support cloud-hosted databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis, ensuring connectivity, performance, backups, and availability.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, DNS, certificates, storage, resource utilization, and application connectivity.
- Implement cloud security best practices including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, secrets management, network security, and container vulnerability scanning.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), performance optimization, capacity planning, and Azure cost management.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud infrastructure, including networking, VNets, load balancers, Application Gateway, Front Door, security, and cloud services.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Helm, ingress controllers, and container registries such as ACR.
- Proficiency in CI/CD and GitOps tools including Azure DevOps Pipelines, YAML, Git, branching strategies, and Argo CD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Familiarity with observability platforms like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or SigNoz.
- Operational knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis, focusing on connectivity, backup, and recovery.
- Solid understanding of networking and security concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/SSL, firewalls, VPNs, routing, Kubernetes networking, RBAC, and secrets management.
- Proven experience implementing resilient Azure architectures with HA/DR strategies, backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Practical scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for infrastructure automation.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience supporting telecommunications platforms such as VoIP, SIP, CCaaS, or other real-time communication systems.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments, on-premises Kubernetes clusters, and multi-region infrastructure deployments.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures, PostgreSQL high availability, Redis, RabbitMQ, and API gateways.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-400, AZ-104, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- This role is intended for hands-on L2/L3 DevOps engineers capable of independently diagnosing and resolving complex Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure issues in business-critical production environments.
- Compensation ranges from Rs90,000 to Rs390,000 per month.
- Work location is in person.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage and optimize highly available production environments, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions without reliance on L1 support. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies in a dynamic enterprise setting.
