Senior DevOps Engineer

Orzeh Technologies, a Lahore-based software and AI company, specializes in delivering reliable and secure AI and data systems for real production environments rather than just demonstrations. We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team, open to candidates residing in Pakistan. This role focuses on supporting and modernizing hybrid infrastructure across both Windows and Linux platforms. The position blends Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure management, with responsibilities that include maintaining critical production applications such as AI/ML workloads and automating manual processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy, automating build, testing, deployment, rollback, and release processes.
- Manage and configure Windows servers and Nginx web servers, alongside administering large-scale Linux environments.
- Oversee Azure infrastructure components including virtual machines, storage, and networking, with additional exposure to AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and manage Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows automation and other scripting solutions to reduce manual tasks.
- Ensure production operations reliability by supporting highly available environments, participating in on-call rotations, handling incident response, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing monitoring and observability tools.
- Manage networking and security aspects such as DNS (GoDaddy, Cloudflare), load balancing, and infrastructure security support.
- Assist with automated QA testing using Selenium and support deployment and operation of AI/ML workloads, including GPU-enabled infrastructure.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering within distributed systems environments.
- Hands-on production experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
- Proven experience managing Windows servers and Nginx in production settings.
- Solid expertise with Docker containerization and Azure cloud services.
- Comprehensive understanding of DNS management and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Familiarity with managing Kubernetes clusters and supporting AI/ML or GPU-intensive workloads.
- Experience in writing automated tests using Selenium.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
