Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, developing CI/CD pipelines, and containerizing applications to ensure seamless production deployments. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity while maintaining security and compliance standards in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Develop and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker, facilitating smooth and efficient deployments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor system performance by implementing robust monitoring solutions to maintain system health, security, and optimal performance.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve overall productivity.
- Enforce security best practices within containerized environments and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, demonstrating deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components.
- Strong proficiency in Docker, including creating and managing container images and containers.
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with practical experience in cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies to automate infrastructure setup and management.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python to support automation and operational tasks.
