Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join our expanding technology team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies. This role is critical in enhancing deployment speed, system reliability, and scalability across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, provision, manage, and optimize AWS cloud environments including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Lambda to ensure high availability and security.
- CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Develop, maintain, and scale continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or the ELK stack.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM policies, network security groups, and routine patching and backups.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software development and QA teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and streamline release processes.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services covering networking, compute, storage, security, and serverless architectures. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Developer/Solutions Architect Associate are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation.
- Solid working knowledge of Docker and foundational Kubernetes management.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system bottlenecks and failures.

Additional Information:
- The position requires working onsite at our office located on Murree Road, Rawalpindi. Candidates should be able to commute easily to this location.
- The role involves night shift hours, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be willing to work during these hours.
