Senior Drafter

DGP+ (Design Group Practice) is a prominent architectural firm based in Pakistan, recognized for delivering highly customized design and architectural solutions tailored to diverse building and construction needs. The firm is seeking an experienced architectural drafter to join their team in Karachi. This role involves creating detailed architectural drawings and ensuring that all designs meet local regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to translate conceptual designs into precise construction documents, supporting both tender and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop detailed architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and relevant regulations.
- Translate architects’ conceptual designs into accurate and workable construction documents.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and interior design teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Prepare working drawings required for tender submissions and construction phases.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 to 9 years of drafting experience within the architecture field.
- Strong proficiency in architectural drafting software, including AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Certification in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software.
- Residency in Karachi is required to facilitate close collaboration with the team and project sites.
