Senior Electrical Draftsman (MEP)

Amanah Integrated Engineering is a dynamic and expanding MEP engineering and project management firm operating across the Middle East, Africa, and other international markets. We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Draftsmen to join our growing technical team based in Lahore, Pakistan. This role is ideal for professionals with strong MEP consultancy and design experience who can independently produce high-quality technical drawings and effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed Electrical (MEP) drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop and modify MEP layouts, schematics, details, sections, and coordinated drawings.
- Translate engineering designs and calculations into accurate construction and design drawings.
- Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and other service disciplines.
- Identify and resolve drawing and coordination clashes during the design process.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Incorporate engineering and client comments while maintaining drawing revisions.
- Assist engineers with design documentation, schedules, and technical submissions.
- Work on a variety of projects including commercial, hospitality, retail, fit-out, and other building services.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer structures, title blocks, and document control requirements.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 7+ years of relevant MEP drafting experience; senior candidates with stronger experience are encouraged to apply.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proven experience in MEP consultancy and design.
- Ability to independently produce drawings from engineering markups and design information.
- Experience coordinating MEP services with architectural and structural drawings.
- Familiarity with commercial, hospitality, residential, or retail/fit-out projects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Experience working in Lahore is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Revit MEP and BIM is an advantage.
- Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection layouts depending on discipline.
- Candidates with GCC or international project experience will be preferred.

Location and Compensation

The position is based in DHA Phase 8, Lahore, Pakistan. This is an in-person role offering a monthly salary range of PKR 80,000 to PKR 130,000, commensurate with experience.
